Spring has been good to us. We’ve seen a lot of old faces and a bunch of new faces, and we are thankful. Summer hasn’t been too unbearably hot yet, and we still have some great plant material left. Come check out our succulents, assortment of herbs and perennials, and a few odd annuals left.

In an effort to have lots of wonderful healthy plants waiting for you we have spent all our time busy working in the greenhouse, and consequently woefully neglected any web presence. We are all anxiously awaiting ‘Mater Days, and scurrying along trying to get everything ready. And we are definitely excited to see all of your familiar faces, as well as new ones. Right now we have most of our herbs ready (basils are still small), and plenty of succulents. Perennials are coming along nicely. Come out and visit! April hours will be Monday thru Saturday 9am to 6pm, Sunday noon to 4pm. And I’m sure there will be some flex in there, if our gate is open it’s likely we’re open and here to help you.
MATER DAYS!!! is Friday April 21st! That weekend is sure to be crazy. We will not bring any of our tomatoes or peppers out before that weekend. Some varieties we will only have small quantities of, and this assures that everyone gets a fair chance at getting some.
We are so excited for this season! This winter we got a second greenhouse up, it’s holding all our veggies right now. We’ve been working on multiple other projects beautifying the grounds. Of course it’s always ongoing. Come say hi, and pick up a lovely. Below are lists of tomatoes, peppers and veggies for this year!

This summer heat gets to everyone. We’ve cut back the hours we’re open to give ourselves a break. We are busy trying to keep everything watered and looking good. We have started production for plants available next spring. And we’ve seriously started advancing on putting up our next two greenhouses. The groundwork is done, next step is setting posts for the hoops. We’re also looking at setting up a few classes for this fall, hypertufa troughs and succulent containers. Please feel free to stop in and visit, we’d love to see you.
SUMMER HOURS:

FRIDAY APRIL 15TH, DOORS OPEN AT 9AM
Mater Days is early this year, since the first friday of the month was on the 1st. You will have to baby your plants for a few weeks at home before it’s safe to plant them outside. We have close to the same selection as we did last year. By some small miracle (a miracle named Lynda) we have buckets of veggies for you. It boggles our minds ever time we think of it, we got a massive amount of supplies moved, a greenhouse up and running, plant production ongoing, along with so much more, all in time for spring season 2016. We couldn’t be happier. And Lynda, as usual, made Mater Days happen. Thank you Lynda!! Below are lists for tomatoes, peppers, and other veggies.

We have been working our butts off cleaning, organizing, and mostly transplanting plants rushing to get everything just perfect before our opening. We will open our doors this FRIDAY APRIL 1ST with a SOFT OPENING. …meaning… we know everyone is anxious to check out our new digs, so come visit, but many of our plants are still small yet and purchasing car loads of plants should wait until after mid April. We are so excited to see all of your familiar faces and of course new ones. We hope that all of you are patient with us this first year as we are transitioning to our new place. We will not have the breadth of plants we’ve carried in the past, BUT we will have plenty still. Lynda has been full speed trasplanting peppers and tomatoes. Susan and Julie are fast at work on veggies like kale, broccoli, strawberries etc. Mom and I have been getting perennials potted up, and mom is dizzy from all the herb production she’s doing. Terry and I, when we aren’t running after our three boys, have been straightening up, decorating and putting up gates and signs. We know many of you are also wondering about MATER DAYS. it’s a go! FRIDAY APRIL 15TH, third friday in april, God willing and the creek don’t rise!!
