Join us for a bittersweet celebration of leaving as well as homecoming, plus of course the start of summer. This will be the last year for us at the farm and we want to mark the occasion with selected plant sales, fairy crowns, roasted corn and lemonade, and a barrel full of fun. We know this will be a wonderful night to gather as family and friends and celebrate the many wonderful moments we’ve had on this property.

Hello fellow gardeners!!!
Mater Days is in a matter of weeks and everyone is getting super excited.
Doors open at 9am Friday April 17th!!
This year we have 140+ varieties of tomatoes, including interesting new hybrids, heirlooms and Kentucky heirlooms. We have 80+ varieties of peppers ranging from sweet to super hot. And we have lots of great veggies including eggplants, tomatillos, melons, lettuces, cold crops, etc! Plus, of course, herbs to pair with all your produce.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for great weather, and expect to have another wonderful turnout. Remember, it’s first come first serve, so if you want the best selection of varieties come early. Super hot peppers seem to always go fast.

The time has come again to join us in prepping for spring. Come brighten your spirits, get your hands in some dirt, and grow some baby plants! This spring, thus far, the only class we are offering is Sowing Seeds and Taking Cuttings. We know many of you are repeat students (which we love BTW), and if you’ve never had the opportunity to join us for this class then join this spring. It’s a wonderful class about learning the basics of seed and cutting propagation. You spend two hours with us during the initial class, then you leave your plants and come back and visit them over the next month or so and watch them grow. Yep, we take care of your seeds and cuttings and when you come to check on them you are welcome to spend some time transplanting them into pots. We will watch them till the clock strikes April 15th, then they turn into pumpkins. lol.
It’s truly a unique experience. Take the time to join us for a class, and go home with buckets of plant knowledge and plants!
You must register in advance. Class fee is $35
If you’re curious about another class, or setting up a propagation class for a group, don’t hesitate to call Peggy. 502.296.1499
